Got a RL? That's totally cool with us because so do we! ISF maximises the variety of activities that our members engage in. However, whatever we turn our hand to, we will usually have a beer or a glass of red in the other! Our relaxed, friendly and supportive culture stems from our core values: ★ FUN ★ FREEDOM ★ FRIENDLY★ (These core values are known as ISF's "3 Fs") ╔► All Time Zones (many from Aus/NZ TZ) ╠► No probs if you have limited game time ╠► We understand older gamers b/c that's what we are ╠► Relaxed, friendly and understanding group ╠► Group ops (but not compulsory) ╠► No min play times or schedules ╠► Indy (eg Mining / Invention / Manufacturing / Trade / PI) ╠► PvE (eg Missions (1-5) / Cosmos / Complexes / Ratting) ╠► PvP (eg WHs roams and 0.0 encounters) ╠► 0.0 access (subject to minimal rules) ╠► NRDS policy (Not Red Don't Shoot) ╠► No min SP requirement (fit is more important) ╚► Red / White / Beer / etc in hand & ready to fly! ► OLDER? We have no formal age limit but our members tend to be over 35. Being "older" is definitely not a bad thing in ISF. In ISF you'll be hanging with people who remember music before the 90's and who played Elite on the BBC and C64. ► YOUR PLAY TIMES? While we have people who might log on at any time of day, ISF tends to be most active in the few hours before and after DT. This is because many of our members are from the Aussie/NZ Time Zone. Yes, we accept members from all TZ's. ► BUSY REAL LIFE? We understand that real life comes first and we ask that you do too. Most of our members have a demanding job, wife and children. We adopt a casual play style that's fun and not overly serious. We understand that any member may need to step away from the keyboard with little or no notice and may not be able to use voice-comms at all times (e.g. sleeping baby nearby). ► FREELANCE FREEDOM? ISF offers an alternative to the demanding alarm-clock style of play favoured by 23/7 power-gamers. ISF is laid back and we generally stuff around and come and go as RL permits. None of us treat EVE as a job. We have minimal rules û NRDS, no scamming, no smack-talk or epeen These are NOT compulsory û group ops, voice-comms (unless in Alliance fleet), min play hours ► WHAT DOES ISF EXPECT FROM YOU? Not a great deal actually; it's mainly about having the right fit and attitude. * Be chilled, keep your epeen in your pants and understand that real life may trump EVE now and then * Enjoy a laugh (we get enough angsty sooky-la-las from our kids) * Any race and no skill point minimum (its about attitude and fit of the RL person) * Limited API check by CEO only * Only 2% tax on PvE kills * A very low 10M ISK per month to help ISF contribute to the development of Alliance 0.0 Space (If needed, we will teach you how to make enough ISK to easily afford this contribution.) ISF does seem to be dominated by Aussie/NZ timezone players ATM but membership changes over time. We aim for around the clock membership and therefore welcome people from all TZ's. Since we put RL first and do not have compulsory group ops, RL can randomly trump members and from time to time lead to quiet periods in corp (although this is a function of RL and is not specific to any particular TZ) and therefore ISF does not promise wall to wall action 24/7 365.
